Comments: I recently happened upon Matt and Sarah while visiting northern Guatemala, near the Mayan ruins of Tikal.
Our bus had driven past Koru a couple of times when picking up and dropping off tourists at a nearby hotel. They were parked by the side of the "Gringo Perdido" road, on the northeast shore of Lake Peten Itza. After dropping off most of the other tourists, I asked the driver to stop so I could check out this well put together rig, and hopefully say hello to the owners.
To my surprise and theirs, I met Matt and Sarah while washing clothes in the lake. I introduced myself as a fellow Westy enthusiast and world traveller. Despite not being fully dressed, they were very friendly and quick to show me Koru's many custom features. Koru is a well appointed beast.
Best of luck on a fantastic adventure ahead. I hope to see you again further south!
